Newer Irvine listings with crazy WTF asking prices from equity sellers

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Every detail was carefully selected and quality crafted.

I guess that explain the price...

The sales history is weird too: sold first for 1.1 then sold for 750K and finally listed for 1.1.

They did nothing, sandbags around the drains are telltale signs nothing was done.
New owner has the privilege of handling the landscaping after closing.

::) at least do the landscaping if you are going to ask a WTF price.
Maybe they were going for the "beachy" Laguna theme - you know all the blue hues and all

I think something is screwed up. I got to the property taxes by parcel number. Maybe it's the wrong parcel number. The supplemental isn't paid and it shows an increase in land value from $11,736 to $2,483,604.

If that $32K property tax is right, it goes up 2% a year and I bet we'll see properties hitting the market with unpaid property taxes like this one:

I think you are right the parcel number must be off on the 111 bright poppy because i just checked another house in the relatively same area that sold recently...

http://tax.ocgov.com/tcweb/detail_sec.asp?ReqParcel=93019008&StreetNo=&Direction=&StreetName=&APN=93019008&Suffix=00&CmpRevDte=79839278&RollTypCde=Secured&Code=A&StSuffix=&City=&Unit=&s=1&p=1&t=&TaxYr=2016&CurYr=2016&apnstatus=PAID#

I will say though that other house just sold for 908 with completed back yard in Feb... good luck with 1.1 Million and unfinished back yard.

Holy that one 141 cloudbreak has never paid their property taxes... maybe they forgot they needed to pay it?

Well it's up for sale. You would think the realtor would have pointed out they owe $47K and it goes up $300 per month for last year's taxes plus probably another $200 per month after June 30th for this year's taxes when they figured out what to list it for.

141's owner won the house in a sweepstakes. They're selling after the required hold period. I'm guessing part of the sale would be to pay off property taxes (and other taxes).

The owner claims he owes over $600k to the IRS for winning the house.
