Guys ...alright alright...so someone spends more than half a million dollars and guess what, these builder walls are so cranky and shitty that they can't keep some bass within-them, i am referring to a attached condo where at the time of purchase, the sales agent proudly vouched for how thick the walls are, and how they managed to leave 4'inch of space b/w them for air & seeping noise and guess what, now the neighbors come ringing bells and dropping love letters of "could you lower down the music please", other than selling this stucco box, any other options?
Irony is that my first question to the builder was about the noise of music seeping to neighbors itself, but as usual sales tactics came in and came out a fabricated seller response, oh don't worry, these are some of the best material built walls ever.
Because compromising on music isn't going to happen, should rather live in a forest or something lol, as a SFR in IR would take me another 3 years of slogging at work etc.
If you guys have successfully deployed any sound proof installations inside the attached condo, or know of, please suggest.
Some intense discussions here, turns out, i am not the only one suffering...http://www.city-data.com/forum/house/198779-how-soundproof-condo-townhouse.html
