Music class

Couldn't find something in top searches so new thread. 

I want to start my 5 year old in a music class but no idea where to start.  He really wants to play the cello but that might be too big for him.  Any recommendations or schools  around IRvine?

I believe they will recommend him to take Piano first given that your little boy is only 5 years old.
