Linear Fireplace

Anyone have any experience putting in an outdoor linear fireplace like this. If so would appreciate thoughts on cost and barriers to installation. thx

Did one similar but has a hearth and can't see through it.

Why don't you share your experience? What would you do differently?

The whole story is really long and probably boring for most.  To be brief I would be more critical on the overall design and have done more research on my options particularly for the firebox portion. 

I had my contractor build this for me but in retrospect I would have preferred to have purchase some premade firebox insert with stainless surround and have him run the line and build the shell, then integrate the firebox.
