Hi All,
I'm really confused about how the assessor values land on Irvine property tax bill. I see that my neigbor and other homes on the same street have much lower land value. Therefore they have lower tax bill. My house was bought about 15 years ago and a house bought a few years ago still have lower land values. Can someone chime in and explain why this is. Also should I appeal assessment? What proof is needed during appeals hearing? I'm worried after appeals they may raise my taxes should they decide to reassess my property.
