I wonder if illegals have a designation on their license too.  That way they can qualify for, you know, special discounts too.

DMV, CalVet Introduce ?Veteran? Designation On Driver Licenses, IDs
November 10, 2015 12:07 PM

Just in time for Veteran?s Day, the California DMV and Department of Veterans Affairs say veterans can now apply for a ?Veteran? designation on their driver licenses and identification cards.

The new designation will be included right next to the donor pink dot, and right above the sex and height information on driver licenses and identification cards.

?As an added bonus, the new ?Veteran? designation means businesses can easily confirm veteran status when offering discounts,? Dr. Vito Imbasciani, CalVet?s secretary, said in a statement.

To obtain ?veteran? designation, a military discharge certificate (DD214) is required, along with a one-time $5 fee.

...added bonus?  Wouldn't the discount be the only bonus?  What else is this designation used for?  Unless it can get you out of speeding tickets when you get pulled over?
