Birthday Ideas

Hello all,

I need your help/suggestions on what to get my wife for her birthday.

Please help.

Thanks.

p.s.

I have a massage lined up for her on Sat but it's not confirmed, I'm waiting to hear back from my massage therapist. I need back up ideas just incase she's not free on Sat.

Thanks again.

Birthday, babies, and babies. Got it.

Here's what you do.

You get yourself a Pandora bracelet. Choose any one of the bracelets, two clasps, and four birthstone charms - one for you, her, and each of the girls. I would give her the bracelet and one charm (hers) now. Save the other three for upcoming holidays. They make so many charms and beads with every theme you can think of, you never need to worry about another gift idea again. The idea is that she can add to it and ultimately design the look of her own bracelet. Click on the store locater to search for a local dealer. I know they carry some at Justin Porterfield in Tustin but not a wide range.

Anyway, just a thought. Maybe she's not a jewelry person. You can never go wrong with the spa as you have already suggested. Good luck!

1. If she likes to watch movies (Hollywood gossip implies that), take her to watch The Ugly Truth in 2 weeks (starring Gerard Butler).

2. Buy her a subscription to People or Entertainment Weekly.

3. Or just go the bk-route: LV bag or CL shoes.

Never met a woman that didnt mind getting a $ 200.00 Nordy Card.

It may be a little impersonal. But it gets the job done.

The problem with those is that if she's anything like me, she'll buy the kid's some cute clothes and/or shoes.

You get 10 gold stars in my book for just coming on here and trying to get suggestions! My husband has many good qualities but thoughtful selection of gifts is not one of them. If I was the receiver I'd love it if my husband booked a night at a nearby coastal hotel and arranged a massage. My favorite birthday's memories come from little trips I did with the family or friends. Just to get away from the demands of your home for one day can be heaven.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! Luz confirmed that she's available after 5pm this Sat. I think I'll go pick up a bouquet of sunflowers, give the kids some benadryl(kidding) and call it a day.

My suggestion is always to clean the house. Or some other chore that she normally does that would allow her more time to herself or quality time with the kids.

Dude, I pay other people to clean my own house. I'm not cleaning yours.
