Assessment Scores Rank IUSD Highest in County

Interestingly enough, the state of California funds those lower test score districts with even more money and the results have not changed. So much for California and equality. Irvine and IUSD schools receive lower funding amounts and no one truly cares in the city.

As for teachers, I?ll leave them alone as they have a forced contribution into their pensions. I would like to see the state require CA pension programs to act as a fiduciary to invest the money for the best possible gains. Instead they divest from a lot of investments because it doesn?t fit the political agenda, which in turn costs the state even more tax dollars.

Don't we all.  These "forced contributions" don't begin to pay the handsome retirement sums they receive.  Many retired superintendents are being paid $250,000 PER YEAR.  For doing NOTHING.
Do you think they contributed that much?  Please.
