Some of you have probably seen this already, its people's stories about the tough time they are having getting by in this economy. It was kind of sad reading it and made me think of how fortunate I am to be in the position that im. I think I spend more on my dogs in a month than some of these people spend on groceries, its very sad. Also, i didnt realize the impact the gas prices are having on people, one girl couldnt go to work because she had no gas in the car.

That is very sad. And perhaps it's more sad if they get their hopes up believing Bush when he says this stimulus package is going to magically make everything better.

NPR had a show on a homeless family who lived in a foreclosed house for 5 months before being "gently evicted" by the bank. I think they probably took good care of the house during the time they lived there.
