    Commute times drawback?  For who?  Doctors at Hoag or anyone that buys the Vistas?  Where are you getting your information that all money works near the coast?  Might be but find that hard to believe. If you are saying the Vistas are farther from the freeway then LA and HC, that is true.

    Yes we have a 7th grader at Orchard Hills.  We also have older kids - they went to Canyon View, Sierra Vista, and Northwood HS as we lived in Northwood Pointe 18 years before moving to the Groves.

    The student body (parents too) demographics has just as much or more to do with a schools ranking as the school itself.  Beckman is already very competitive.  Kids from groves will make it even more competitive.
