It's interesting but unless you are into partying on the train... not sure how popular it would be.
Although driving during non-peak is only 4 hours (less depending on your inner Andretti), I don't mind just relaxing and enjoying being a passenger. Although... 6 hours seems like a long time.
I took a bus to Vegas once (back when there used to be Comdex) and that was okay (only 5 hours)... but in the time vs. money factor, I would rather fly.
