Somehow I missed it. When Reagan was president we failed to reach the utopia Republican's promised because the House was still Democrat controlled. When the Republicans finally got control of all four government offices, the Executive, Senate, House, and Supreme Court we were supposed to see everything get better and live in the Republican utopia. I cannot believe it, but I actually heard some one at the coffee shop say that we did not give the Republican supply side economics enough time, the Democrats screwed it all up so bad that Bush would need another eight years to sort it out. Apparently the last eight years were the necessarry growing pains to rid ourselves of the poisons of the Roosevelt era.
All I can say is " you had your chance, and things got worse, not better". When is the Republican party going to wake up and admit that their policies have created more problems than they have solved?
