where to get good steamed clams

I'm in the mood for steamed clams tonight, but don't want to wait in long lines or pay a fortune. Can someone reccommend a good, reasonably priced place for steamed clams?

Believe it or not. Try Peppinos Italian. Its the sauce for dipping that makes this

one of my favorites. Second choice. McCormick and Schmick's.

Beware of Kings Fish. Sandy and not as fresh.



And if your really in the mood. Buy them at Costco and DIY.

I love the tag at Costco on the Clam Bag that shows they were harvested

in Canada 48 Hours ago.
 
Try The Fisherman's at the pier in San Clemente, you can get them at the restautrant on the left of the pier or the lounge to the right....excellent!
