Thanks Bones for The Plant Stand and Room and Board. I'll check those out too. Amazon has one that looks semi contemporary for $50. This might just have to do for now.

Restoration Hardware has an outlet store in Long Beach near the Aquarium.  Saw lots of outdoor stuff last time I was there.
