Where do you go for cheap eye-glasses?

I need a new pair of glasses just to wear around the house (normally I wear contacts).  Since I don't have vision insurance anymore, I didn't want to buy them at my optometrist's office because they were too expensive.  Are any of those shops you see in the mall any good and/or inexpensive?  I'm also considering Costco or Target.

Can't beat Costco price, but service could be a pain depending on which location.  There's usually a crowd of people around the optical dept. at the two Tustin locations.  But the more frustrated you are the more money you save right?  Slight inconvenience for an extra $100 in my pocket is worth it.

You can always go to the Costco off Barranca and Technology.  Since it's a more of a buisness area and less residential, it's less crowded on the weekends.
