this was hilarious. i literally started laughing out loud. yeah that is not me and definitely not me now. that is the actual Derek Jeter as IHO pointed out. that is a good way to end the night. thanks for the laugh socal! i just put the link in there since the girl had mentioned that i looked like him. my arms were actually a little bigger
Girls' League is about doing charity work in the community. It's very service-oriented. For example, we volunteered our time working at The American Cancer Society, did community service projects and fundraisers. They do give back to the school by issuing scholarships and organizing dances. Spirit Club is about promoting school spirit, for example: pep rallies. More along the lines of dance and cheer.
Yes, I was really into journalism but as I got exposed to it more when I majored in journalism in college, did not care for the politics involved and no longer identified with it. All I really wanted to do was have a family and be a mommy but they didn't offer a degree in that.
Lest you all think I was some sort of flunkie who hung out with drug addicts after reading the end of my high school story post or God forbid you think I'm like that now -- I just want to add things did eventually become brighter. That's not at all who I am. Aside from one poorly planned tattoo, I don't think you'd ever be able to tell I fell off the turnip truck. Once I met my husband, got married, and had a different home life - all the bad seeds were out of my life. I was SOOO much happier and could finally focus instead of worrying about surviving day to day with no family support. When I returned to college I was on the Dean's List the rest of my time there. And of course, I get to be what I always wanted to be. Now my life, while not perfect, is everything I had hoped for and more than I thought possible.... thank God!

I was going to say newspaper or yearbook but didn't know you were that much into journalism.
