Whale fossil pieces dating back at least 10 million years found at Irvine landfill

Now all the houses near the dump can claim a prehistoric ocean view.

Yup, it's fun hiking high up Round Canyon to the landfill and seeing fossils from the sea. This pic is from my hike:
