So I was perusing my old posts from the IHB days and I found this:http://www.talkirvine.com/index.php/topic,10160.msg209383.html#msg209383

UNG - $8.66/share - DEC 12, 2009
UNG - $24.78/share - MAR 18 2014

Disclosure: I didn't buy it back when I asked...
Looks like I dodged a bullet.

Please educate me.  :p  I admit I haven't read the old thread that carefully but from $8.66 to $24.78 in less than 5 years?  I would think that's not too bad these past years?  I understand if you bought way before in the hundreds of dollars, you would never recover your investment with all the additional natural gas supply that came online since then due to fracking, etc..  In the old thread someone was mentioning about $11.  Even in you bought then, it would be more than a double by now?

If someone plunked $250K on this back then, that person might be a 1/2 FCB/NFCB by now.  :p  No?

I used to track ung. Zubs forgot to mention the 1 for 2 stock split in 2011 and 1 for 4 stock split in 2012. So that 8.66 is actually 69.28 using today's share count. So hhis investment would have gone from 69.28 to 24.78

O.K. got it.  I hate these detrimental stock splits.  :'(  I like having 30 million shares of something rather than 30 shares.

I thought the OP was going for a 10 or 20 bagger or more or bust.  :p
