U.S. Small Businesses Lament There Are Too Few Mexicans in U.S.

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Saw that article as well yesterday on another site. The quote should be "jobs that American's don't want..... for what they pay." It's not a question of work, but compensation for work.

Unfortunately American business has looked the other way in paying their workers (undocumented or not) so low of pay it's really for all intents and purposes slave wages. Limit social services to 6 months maximum and with a higher wage available, I'd expect this lack of employment issue to clear itself up. No, I'm not advocating a "living wage/$15.00 per hour minimum wage" etc, but I am suggesting $10.00 an hour isn't going to cut it.

Plenty of Renaissance Poetry, Social Justice, and other mythically degreed candidates in the pipeline as well. Once graduation begins around May/June, and these folks realize that their newly minted PHD in Esperanto is really only going to yield about $11 per hour on the open market, there will be American's willing to take these jobs.
