Hey all,

I need to get some new tires soon. Any deals out there?

Any good quality tires for a reasonable price? Thanks!

I'd feel better making a recommendation knowing the make and model, but...

I highly recommend Goodyear Assurance Triple Tred. They handled the highway to Albuquerque, the twisty PCH up the California coast, and the last couple rainstorms in Seattle very well. We'll see how things go when the snow falls but with an 80k mile life span, they are a pretty good deal. I paid $830 when all was said and done.

Both America's Discount and Tires Warehouse have been good to me.

As for the tires themselves, no recommendations there. I've been out of the market for passenger car tires for a while. Current car is too new, last two vehicles were trucks.

+1 on America's Tires. I've had a couple of very good experiences with the outlet in Costa Mesa. They often have deals (including mail in rebates) for a tire brand called Kumho. We got a set one time and were very happy with the performance for a bargain brand. Looked good, too.

My only problem with America's is they are not open on Sundays and later on weekdays.

But, they have a good warranty you can buy (it's worth the extra money) that protects your tire from all damage including premature wear (although this varies by tire). I've had at least 4 tires replaced free of charge (other than a rebuy on the warranty) due to damage outside of the tread area (which is unrepairable) or premature wear.

You can also look at prices online prior to coming into the store:

I have been using Tucker for a long time, I like the way they give you an out-of-the-Door with no BS Price, also, if you buy from them they will rotate/balance and fix Flats at no charge for ever it seems like...I send all my Friends there and they've always been very happy...

You just have to call in with the Make/Model of the Car/Truck along with the size a Day or two before and they will make a few good recommendations and have the Tires there waiting for when you drive in...

They have good deals on Blingy Wheels etc too!!
