Thought they were doing good business… apparently not good enough to survive in Irvine. RIP.

Oh nice. It wasn't open yet when we ate at Dizzy Bird next to it last week (another social media trender).

Did you try it?

I tired today - not superior to Taiwanese popcorn chicken… has some flavor and limited menu during soft opening

$9 for 2 pieces of chicken...!

IMO Taiwanese style popcorn chicken & chicken filet is actually better served with rice due to the heavier seasoning. They should consider selling fried chicken bentos.

I tried Dizzy bird last weekend. I was going to the spectrum to take my daughter shopping so i figured i would order something online and pick it up to eat at home. I got the spicy wrap - it was delicious. If there was one at the marketplace I would get takeout there a lot.

Dizzy Bird was pretty good... wasn't worth the line we waited in though... and pricey.

It's funny how they are owned by the place that was there before Falasophy but that didn't do as well.

When I signed up on the dizzy bird website to do the online order I got an email from the parent company - they also own Craft/smoke & fire. Whole the wrap was very good at dizzy bird there is Conway I would wait in line for it. Just order online to go.

I finally tried it although only the 2-tender combo.

1. Has that Taiwanese popcorn chicken flavor which can be good or bad depending on your taste
2. Yes, rice would be good but BBQ Chicken and others do fries too.
3. The $14.99 combo was expensive but it's actually a lot of food. It's more like a build your own sandwich combo because they give you 2 tenders, curly fries, 2 buns, pickle, a small side of coleslaw and some spicy sauce. You can build a sandwich with 1/2 or 1 tender and have 1+ tender to eat on the side.

I would go back... which is something I wouldn't do for Dizzy Bird... but then again I like fried chicken more. :)
