At least it does not say "Latina Only" on the label. I am going to make a washboard for my daughter so that she can learn about laundry early on.
But you have to admit, that little girl on the box looks rather tan.
Different story: I'm sitting in court yesterday. Woman judge, woman research attorney, usually a male court clerk (but there was a woman sub that day). Male attorney is arguing his motion (involving a sort of investment advisor malpractice claim, not there there is such a thing, exactly). He's going along, and then in a moment where he appears to forget his audience, says something along the lines of, "Now [investment advisor] claims to have had dinner with [husband and wife]. We know that there was such a dinner, but [investment advisor] claims to have presented [wife] with an investment plan for her review and to ask any questions. This story is just inconceivable. [Wife] is a housewife and it is just silly to think that this housewife would be interested in seeing the investment plan."

I'm sure Jenny Sanford, a current housewife and former M&A VP at Lazard Freres & Company, would have had a few words for him.

He was everywhere in the media including the front page of the New York Times Arts and Leisure section. Why all the hoopla? The first ear piercing? The two tone hair... the outfit? Yes, but most controversial was his choice of accessories.
Midge isn't gay. She married Allen. They had three kids. (Remember, you could buy her pregnant with Nikki the newborn.)
Maybe you're thinking of Skipper? She had boyfriends - Scott and Kevin, but never married if I recall.
Earring Magic Barbie and Midge were left on the shelves without a partner.

;-) I will confess. I cheated and used wikipedia for fact-verification. I did remember Midge being the pregnant one and Skipper having a boyfriend but didn't really remember the boyfriends' names.

One of my favorite things in the world is the look on a person's face when I answer the "so, what do you do?" question.
And I have completely lost count of how many times I've been told I don't look like a software engineer.
I'm realistic about my collegues, however, and choose to take it as a compliment.
