I have a friend on the IPD. He told me that a rookie officer recently was let go after crashing his police car at 100+mph.
So I got a citation....

Where the hell did he crash and why? Btw, I got a seatbelt ticket from Irvine PD this last week...I always put it on and just the one time I was in a hurry and forgot...BINGO.QH Renter said:
I just saw this. A guy is trying to set up a class action lawsuit against prosecutors in California who pursue traffic citations as a source of revenue (rather than just enforcing safety issues). He is trying to raise money to cover the costs. He has a page set up looking for donations and a coherent legal strategy.

My husband got pulled over on the 405 yesterday for exiting the HOV lane over the double yellow lines. My jaw hit the ground when the cop said he was just going to give him a warning.
