Siri is following me...

So I accidentally pull down my Notification tab on my iPhone and there is a message there that reads:

"Right now, it would take you about 14 minutes to drive to [city]."

So I'm wondering why is it telling me that? I tap it and it shows my route from home to work... WHAT THE iMADNESS?!?

Turns out this is a feature of iOS7 called Favorite Locations and Next Destination that learns where you are and will do location centric searches/context for you. I found this article that explains it:

Pretty cool but a bit scary. Next thing I know, Siri will say "Isn't it time for you to take a shower?".

Haha my wife was excited about that too.

It would tell her how long her morning commute was just by remembering where she drives every morning!

(I still don't know why Siri calls my wife's work "John's House". I guess technology still has some learning to do )

Just checked it out. It is telling me it is time for my chiro appt and has the location. NSAish!
