Hello to you all,

We are now 2 month before moving from Europe to Irvine.

I know I want the Northwood HS neighborhoods for my teenagers, but in the NHS area there are few elementary schools (for my little one).

I like the area around Santiago Hills Elementary School, and I understand they aply the Montessori method, but in the "greatschools.net" I found few very unbecoming reviews of the school.

http://www.greatschools.net/school/parentReviews.page?id=3828&state=CA

I couldn’t find any other parents' opinion.

Does anyone here know the school and can tell me about it?

Thanks,

As a teacher (not in IUSD) I can honestly say from what I know about the Irvine elementary schools, you really aren't going to find a bad one. You might find a lot of complaining parents, but probably not a bad school.
