If someone's thinking about renting out an extra room in one's house, is it going to be month to month or is lease one of the option? Checking credit, I think, would be automatic but would checking background or empolyment verification be too much for $400 to $450 a month room? Am I an idiot to even ask this qeustion because this kinda of lacking due diligent on bank/lender/investors got us into this mess from the first please?
