Old Farmland in Aliso Viejo by Aliso Middle School?

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Hi all,

I was in the area a couple of days ago at the Aliso Community Park (close to Glenwood/Moulton), and I'm curious what is this large parcel right across from Aliso Middle School, does anybody know? It is fenced and has a bunch of old buildings looking like a former farm property. It is not abandoned, there was a bunch of pickup trucks and somebody unleashed the dogs on us when we were standing by the gates gawking. Since the property is so big, we were able to get far away by the time dogs got to the gates.

Anybody?

Thanks in advance.

I'll be damned. Wow, I bike and run back there all the time and I've never seen that place before (you mean Moulton/Alicia, right?). Must be some old koot that wouldn't sell his land to the developers. They must just love the soccer-mom SUV's flying by and their screaming little rats in the playground every day.

Yup, that's the one! Thanks for looking it up. One of the reasons I was so interested in finding out what it is exactly is that it was just a weird place: old farm buildings, some rusty equipment, and yet a bunch of pick up trucks with people on the property. What can they be possibly doing there, the whole thing is just weeds, there is really nothing to do there . . .

Gotta love mysteries :)

I believe that's the Aliso Viejo Ranch.

The city held the Founder's Day Fair there last September.
