Another Buffalo Wild Wings headed for O.C.
It was only a matter of time before Buffalo Wild Wings landed in Irvine.
The chain has big plans to expand in Southern California, and franchisee Randy Yamamoto says he?s found a great location in Irvine to open his second bar and grill.
The new restaurant is under construction on the 14000 block of Culver Drive near the I-5. Yamamoto said he is taking over a free-standing building that once occupied Sumo Buffet, which has been partially torn down.
?There will be a huge patio that faces the frontage road that exits from the freeway onto Culver. We are scheduled to open in early July this year,? Yamamoto said.

If I were to open a new restaurant in Irvine... it would be a Boiling Crab. That place is always crowded.
