<p>First I have to say I like Jeff Collins as the RE blogger at the <a href="http://blogs.ocregister.com/lansner/">Reg</a>. He actually posts comments and actually answers questions. Then he posted the sqft data for all homes then made a point to post the data for condos. Then to top it off he posts the sales data and mentions an AP article about how the median price paints a pretty picture. For the double dozy and to add salt to the wounds he cites his source for the article is Rants aka Ranter. I love it. Rants gets so much crap from the bulls but he does post great articles. I sense a blogger coup d etat over there. Jeff Collins must be a bitter renter.</p>
<p>Anyway the home sales data was posted <a href="http://blogs.ocregister.com/lansner/archives/2007/07/sales_down_295_pr.html">here</a>. New homes were down -15.5% in price but if you factor in the average Lennar incentive of $43k it becomes -21%.</p>
