i love all the new 2008s... c-class, 1-series, volvos, even the accord coupe! i may be in the mkt for a new car next yr. i saw the volvo c30 on display inside crystal court last wkend and it looked like a great lil sporty hatchback. also saw the lamborghinis over at south coast although those are a bit out of my range.

you mean FWD? i know, i love powering into turns. the last time i got a rental car that was FWD i was fish-tailing all over the place.

Thanks everyone for stopping by... and yes I agree, most 2008 models are well designed. There's stiff competition for every vehicle class in 2008. 2009 models will hold even greater competition. Biggest clash of rivals will be the ever growing crossover SUV class segment. With rising gas prices and need for sub-wagon/suv style...crossovers is the next popular thing on the road (for years to come). I am a car addict and that is why i started the website. I want to share my joy with everyone. There will be more content to come...

Leatherette is still standard on the current 3 series and 5 series...

In Europe, BMW offers cloth on these cars, which I would prefer to leatherette.

The 2008 Subie WRX goes from 0 to 60 m.p.h. in 5.9 seconds-- almost as good as the porsche boxster. Some folks think it's ugly, but I like it.

Here's a review.

i recently saw the new WRX at the OC Autoshow. It is quite a separation from its recent generation. It's going to be a hard sell for many dedicated WRX fans. I have 5 personal friends that drive the sedan WRX STI and they are having difficulty sleeping at night.

However, the performance is second to none for the price. The most HP you buy for the money in the market IMO. I think it's one of those cars that will take time to catch on...the STI version of it was quite nice. I am still having trouble with the rear design..it look like a Ford IMO.

Sales numbers will dictate whether the new WRX will succeed. I have a gut feeling they will revamp the design within next 2-3 years.

Actually front wheel drive saves you from oversteer situtation. While lots of people don't like it (me included), it doesn't mean you can't make them fast or drive them fast. I have a feeling that the new C30 with just a computer tune will put out big power. Add a few extra mods and you'll have a hot little hatch again.
