I'm laughing pretty hard too, this has been fun. The poor guy. I think he bit off more than he could chew.

But in all seriousness (and in the spirit of being nice to the newbies), I think there is a place for someone like this who is willing to be honest with his/her answers.
 
The nice thing about IHB is that professionals can come here and participate. This guy wasn't trying to participate.

He's the guy that leaves flyers on your windshield at the grocery store parking lot.

I guess I pretty much thought the same, especially since it was his first post. I guess he really doesn't understand this place very well or he is trying to take several shots in the dark anywhere he can. However, I would be appreciative of anyone (like Solyent) who shows up with real information that others do not have. BTW, I think Nude should check out some of Solylent's posts, probably someone you would appreciate (if you don't already know this).

I think it best to be nice to newbies, lull them into a sense of openness and security, flatter and fawn over them, let them expose their idiosyncrasies and weaknesses, and then everyone plan on a certain day and then everyone slam the heck out 'em all at once.
 
I don't think anyone was out of line. He opened himself up to questions, identifying himself as a "local professional" and people asked him questions. No one challenged his knowledge or intellect... of course, since he didn't try to answer any of those questions, there wasn't much information to challenge. Perhaps that in itself is comment enough!
