I agree... this is not what bed and breakfast is supposed to be about!

I actually originally feels bad for IHS daughter because her father just told the whole world indirectly how a disappointment she is for not making it to an Ivy school (however IHS would dice that it is not about her and is about Irvine or anything else, that is the message to her daughter). But IF it is not true, then I guess its a sigh of relief

Were the acceptance letters received in March? Looks like it got sent out late February so they got it early March.
Observations:
1) Bones accused IHS of sending his daughter to IUSD when he wasn't in district. From the "Tale of 2 Friends" thread, IHS shared his daughter went through TUSD from Myford -> Beckman. So there's an accusation of wrongdoing that is wrong on its face, and Bones should take that one back.
2) IHS posted his own analysis and stats at a macro-level, then related it to his own daughter's experience. Bones "called bullshit", but I don't see where IHS has any incentive to lie. Why make up a story about getting admission to Harvard rescinded? And if he was, so what? Rather than take him on in such an abrasive way, Bones could have simply shared knowledge about the oddity of having admissions rescinded and leave it at that.
3) Bones gets awkward when folks open up and share stuff from their personal space, and it's a damn shame. Some of the best content on this forum involves posters sharing personal experiences -- good and bad -- and we shouldn't tolerate it when someone takes advantage of that vulnerability just to slit their throat. No wonder he locked the thread.
Bones should stand down and apologize.

Wow, this is not what a BB is about. Lord knows I've had my run-ins with IHS and disagree with him on numerous issues, but to outright accuse him of lying and fabricating a story and letter is distasteful. This thread should be nuked as well as the original IHS thread about his daughter. Everyone needs to take a deep breath and re-evaluate their participation on our local board.
