Lexus Nav touchscreen no worky

My wife's touch panel screen just burned out, seems like a common problem from a google search, no recalls, out of warranty, probably a grand to replace from dealer.  Any one know a place that can fix instead of replace?  There are instructions online in Lexus forums but seems out of my DIY skills.
