Since BNC is/was Irvine-based, I thought this deserved its own discussion. But my feelings won't be hurt if it is moved to the Headlines discussion.

Matthew Padilla of the OC Register is blogging/reporting that up to 40 percent of the jobs, or about 480 workers, are in Irvine.

This can't be good for the local economy.
