31612 Summit Rd. in Laguna Beach was recently taken back by the bank for $753k. Funny I thought the land underneath a port-a-potty was worth $1mil. Well this 2bd 1ba 638 sqft shoebox I mean beach cottage recently sold in in October for $885k. Sounds like a first payment default to me. I wonder if it was a cashback deal? I don't know for sure if it is fraud but it follows the same pattern. All I do know is the "high-end" market is not immune.
