I don't know where this is in Woodbury but $1 million for a 3 bd 2 bath house (1700 sq ft?)

WTF!!!!

I love Newport Beach as much as the next guy but 1.66 million for a 1700 sq. ft house?

Ahhh - the port streets. One of the few neighborhoods in Newport Beach to still have a real "community" feeling to it. I would think it would be a highly desirable area for families with young kids who want to live in Newport but still have sidewalks, and schools you can walk the kids to and neighborhood swimming teams.

For a while there many of the original homes (which these are) were being bought and then torn down with custom rebuilds on the lots. Don't know if that's still the case but these prices don't seem that inflated considering the neighborhood.

Of course in this market the buyers decide what's inflated. I'm very curious to see what happens with the prices in some of the specialty Newport Beach areas like the Port Streets and Corona Del Mar.

Rent x 160 in RSM?!?

I've got not one but two stinky condos out there under $200k now.

Effen...

That is some kind of mistake. Aliso Viejo came into being in the late 80's. And AV certainly does have Mello-Roos. I'd bet it's in Laguna Hills. The Realtor (TM) thought Aliso Viejo would look better?
