Orangetree Community. I browse craigslist frequently and see lots of ads for units around the area. While many don't like the area, I drove around it and found it nice for the time being... the lower rent costs would allow me to save more for a downpayment 2-3 years from now.
Looking at the attached condo units, how much would you actually pay for a 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom? I am talking about actual rent you would pay considering comparables around the area (mainly IAC apartments that seem to set most prices).
1. What would you pay for a 1 bedroom + loft / 1 bath that is about 639 sqft? (I've seen one frequently re-listed on CL for $1375, but still no takers.)
2. What would you pay for a 2 bedroom unit / 1 bath that is about 850 sqft? (I've seen one just listed for $1595).
Would you think the prices listed now are fair considering IAC are considerably higher rent? Now assume old kitchen, old bathroom & old appliances as most pictures seemed to have the wood counters, and of course no stainless appliances.
Just curious to see what peoples' opinions are... Thanks.
