Where can we find comps for a new community? Is this something that a buyer can ask builer to provide? or...any other way...???

You could get a list of addresses of the same model for the neighborhood and then check the assessor's website to see what the roll value is. I did then when we were looking in Columbus Grove...

Columbus Grove is on sale now. Lots of recent NODs on places there. Couple of Westbourne and Cantara places recently popped up on MLS. There is going to be a high level of distress there in coming months. Closing a big house in 2006 and early 2007 in CG might be the worst possible thing for people. In a buyers market, people are going to shy away from CG as they can get discounted prices in more favorable/premium areas.
