This home value estimator tool is one of the most accurate I've seen. I think it might be powered by the AVM that Wachovia used to give you access to on its website. Just to give you an idea, B of A used their AVM to guesstimate the value of our home for a refi and they said that their's is pretty conservative with most appraisals coming in higher than their new AVM. This program came in almost exactly where B of A's AVM did and values properties much lower than zillow.

Seems pretty accurate, it was on the high end of my own estimate of my home's value but still in the range.
