HOA fees in this listing

Is the HOA fees for this property/neighborhood really $687/month? Is that right or is it a typo? I get that’s it a condo but isn’t that a lot? It’s high rise condo in an urban area levels but you don’t get amenities such as a doorman, etc.

I know it’s tongue in cheek but you also have residents at single family homes (lower HOA) in Woodbridge, apartment tenants in the area, etc all using the same lake.

I did but wasn’t sure (I am not familiar with the HOA in Woodbridge as I don’t live there) if there was a typo in there as well as it’s my understanding that the listing agent enters that information manually in the MLS

Seems about right, it's a condo after all.
The $147 is most likely for the lake and amenities
The $540 is most likely for landscaping, exterior and roof upkeep, etc. for the actual Condon.

Attached condos in Irvine will have 2 HOAs, one for the master Village HOA and the other is for the condo HOA. The condo HOA covers the fire insurance for the home which is the largest part of the cost. These HOAs have not been great at shopping around for fire insurance coverage hence why we have seen a significant increase in the condo HOA fees in the past few years.
