Its a dog and pony show to give the markets confidence that the problem is under control *laughs*.
Its not going to work since people are still not making their payments without the reset. You just delay the inevitable and give a chance for the big banks and investment firms to minimize losses.
In the end, Main Street loses.

that is what i'm thinking... a lousy few points isn't going to cure the problem. People are leveraged 10ft past their eyeballs! Their loans are going to reset FAR past what they could afford (even with 0% loans). They don't need help, they need common sense on how to buy a house.....
