So my parents busted their arses, especially my dad, to give me the opportunities to be who I am today after we came from Poland with very little.  I was also a pain in the behind and liked to rebel since my parents were controlling.  Well, I've been fortunate enough that I can provide my dad (fortunately my mom is with my stepdad who is a great guy) with something that he can enjoy as he retires from his job next year.  Today I got word that the short sale that I put an offer on in Vegas got accepted and that we are set to close by the end of June (I had to go all cash and be an FCB to get the house since there were 8 offers on it).  It's a 4bed/3bath single story 3-car garage home (IHO approved) that sits on a 1/4 acre in a gated community in Summerlin (need to save up for the pool for my dad's retirement gift).  I'm driving out to Vegas Sunday morning and will surprise my dad by viewing the house with it after we go to lunch.  Can't wait to see the look on his face.  Here are a few pictures of it....

I'd like to thank all of my clients for providing me the opportunity to even be in the position to give this wonderful gift to my dad, thank you all for your business & referrals and the opportunity to assist you in your real estate needs.  I hope all of you dads out there have a wonderful Fathers Day!!!

Awesome... 3CWG and huge lot... is it single level?
Yeah, my dad had both of his hips replaced so it was single story or bust.  It needs a little TLC (paint and flooring) but it's basically ready to move in.  A pool is mandatory for Vegas too.  That same house would cost like 4x the price I paid in Irvine.

this is very heart touching; your dad will be very proud. now for next Father's day the gift will be his first(?) grandchild? - I always have liked the caucasian and asian mix - they always seem to get the best features from each side.

on a further thought, this is how it should be done; making your way up and buy a house in Irvine by yourself, instead of blaming not having rich parents, moving out of state and complaining how overpriced Irvine is.

Oh... and btw... in regards to 3CWG influence, most of the guys from the old IHB now have a 3CWG or a 3CTG or something more than a 2CWG.

Real men have more than a two-car. :)

It's all your fault, I was subconsciously targeting 3CWG homes because of you.  My dad still has a lot of tools so I want to make sure I can park my car in the garage too.

Quick IHO, adopt USC!  You'll get a 3CWG in no time!
I ain't movin' to Summerlin... that might as well be Johns Creek. :)

Think of all the buffets....
True... but that's still not worth living in that weather with no beaches around... can't even play hoops outside in the summer.

Which reminds me... off to the Vegas thread to talk about buffets...

By the way, thank you for PM'ing me the pic of you and your ex taken before she broke off the engagement with you & gave you back your tiny diamond ring. You look WAY happier than she does. Don't worry, your heartache should fade with time.

here is my takeaway - motor court is a punk as bitch. all he does is talk shit. so he deserves whatever he gets.  second, we all know why the white girl dumped your ass.  white women cant be satisfied motor courts little friend, way too little.

and its probably in your best interest not to be talking trash in real life like you do on the internet, because judging from your pic you wont be able to defend yourself very well with those scrawny shoulders and arms.

PS - i think your girls hands are bigger than yours.
