Anyone interested?  Just for TI folks....

Not a big football fan but figure this will make me more interested...

We could use the same Yahoo league I used for basketball.

I have no idea how to play Fantasy Football either but I'll give it a go, I could probably beat Homie's nephew.

I'm in if the buy in is low enough. I tried to get some friends to set up a league but they complained of it being a lot of work for a "fun" league.

I don't watch football nor do I have a team so this won't negatively affect me.  (Well I do have a soft spot for Alabama.)

However, first everyone must watch all of the seasons for "The League"
Then we can see who is like who, haha

Signed up and put the draft in my calendar already.  I better go start doing some mock drafts right now in preparation.  (Sarcasm- A friend of mine is really into fantasy and has spent the last couple of nights doing mock drafts in preparation.)

Speaking of drafts -  I was at Boiling Point last week and there was a guy with his family near me doing his draft over the phone, haha.  It was funny to hear him speak to his draft people while out and about.

I prefer betting on football versus playing fantasy football.

Seriously, I would agree - in college you can do well on this.  Betting on the NFL is at best a 50% chance.  There are just too many variables since all teams have access to the same groups of players.  Coaches are fairly evenly matched in terms of resources.

In college, it would be very rare (though it does happen every 50 years) for a team like SD State to beat Oregon, or for NM State to beat Oklahoma.  In the NFL, the Rams won and tied the Niners last year and split vs. the Seahawks.
I do a better in college than the NFL, especially when it comes to betting games str8 up.  For the NFL I tend to bet 2-4 team money-line parlays (no point spreads).  Sometimes my dad will call me when he's watching the games and thinks there's a good 2nd half bet too.

So far only 3 of us have joined. :(

Some people complain that when there's no money on the line then there is no real competition and people won't take it serious.  I guess this is a make-you-feel-good-league because we are guaranteed a podium spot, haha.  I tried to get my wife to join.  She was a two time champ at her old work, but she doesn't have time nor the motivation these days.

We have 4... is that the minimum? Can we get 2 more? Homie? Tylarrrr? USC? Draft is Wed night (8:45p).

I hear we should have at least 8 as any lower number of people means that we all have All Star teams.

i wont be joining. ive never been into fantasy sports.  like you said, it could change the way i watch football, so never have done it.
