There are roughly 23 million firms in the US, of which only 4 percent get above $1 million in revenue. Of those firms, only about 1 out of 10, or 0.4% of all companies, ever make it to $10 million in revenue and only 17,000 companies surpass $50 million. Finishing out the list, the top 2,500 firms in the U.S. are larger than $500 million and there are 500 firms in the world larger than $11 billion.



Is there anyone here who is a small business owner where revenue is between 0 and $1 million? Anyone here who started a business from the ground floor and is now over $10 million in revenue? Please share with all of us your story how you identified your niche and built your business.
