I'd love to see the new PRC Superman take out pro-democracy activists, human rights watchdogs, Falungong etc. with amazing superpowers. I hope the archvillains in the series are be based on Shinzo Abe, the Dail Lama, and Lee Teng-hui. Maybe PRC Lois Lane can come have a baby in Irvine.

I'm not sure how successful DC will be in a market that's already saturated with manga.  But if they think it might turn into a profitable movie later, by all means, throw the cash.

It's will not necessary to utilize superheros to suppress counter-revolutionaries and reactionaries in the future.  In the digital age people will voluntarily submit and flaunt their "social credit score" for small gains in educational, employment, financial, dating, and career prospects.  There is no need to force those who refuse to comply either, they'll simply be systematically marginalized.

DC's new Superman also includes a PRC Batman and PRC Wonderwoman.  Please, please, let the PRC Batman carry his gear in a utility murse (custom made by LV) instead of a belt.
