Not only for the standard reasons of good prices and good selection, but now also for their Ameriprise insurance.  I got a great quote for both homeowner's policy and my auto policy...they even beat Mercury which I didn't think was possible.  :-\  +1 for Ameriprise insurance in association with Costco.  :-*

Same here been with Ameriprise for over 4 years, price can't be beat.  Never filed any major claims with them so can't speak for their service.  So far had two windshield repairs with no problems (no deductible).  Able to purchase 500/250 for liability which I couldn't with other carriers without having history.

But do they have a talking gecko?

Or can you sing their jingle and an agent will appear to grant your wishes?

Or are they sponsored by "Mayhem"?

The discount on the auto policy (2 cars) from having the homeowners policy will basically pay for the homeowners policy...gotta love that.

Speaking of ameriprise just got a letter about obtaining an umbrella policy in addition to my auto and homeowners policy.  I think I might look into it in case I hit a school bus, get a defective bounce house, or start a catastrophic pi?ata party.

Will check out Ameriprise when I move to the new address. Thanks!

My favorites from Costco would have to be the chicken and salmon fillets. Hmmmm.

Their whole roasted chicken is mighty tastey can lasts me 3-4 days.  Plus you can't beat the greasy Costco pizza and hot dog.

Whats a positive with out a negative, right?

I have been with 21st for the past 8 years, survived a "totalled car" and a couple of minor incidents - For 2 cars for 2 drivers they are charging about $200 less than what other carriers quoted and yes "other carriers" include ameriprise as well. I said "hmm, let me combine my home owners ins and see the deal" - its still higher than what I currently pay for both.

I like costco, for their price vs quality balance. Walmart probably beats them on prices, but quality there goes down quite a bit on comparable products.
