Restaurant Brasserie Bar | Butcher's House | Costa Mesa
Restaurant Brasserie Bar. Butcher's House is a modern Brasserie inspired by the Butcher's craft.

If you want to do a little shopping (or window shopping) in this plaza, come earlier as the shops tend to close early.
This is a French owned restaurant serving steaks. If you like your steak medium rare but not bloody, this is the place to go. They'll cook, rest, and cut your steak tender but without blood oozing. But if you like your steak meaty and slightly bloody, go to the Ranch in Anaheim and order the 58 oz Cowboy Ribeye.
We tired both the Bone in Ribeye and the Hanger steak here. The dry aged Ribeye was decent, but the cheaper Hanger steak had a nice smoky aroma.
The fish was meh, but the lamb rack... you get 8 lamb racks per order, they're not the big ones from Colorado but I give their lamb an "A" for tenderness. I'd come back just for the lamb and bring my own apple mint jelly.
Side dishes not exceptional, and they charge $5 for bread and butter (!). I don't remember being charged for bread in France, but whatever.
Be warned that if you have a larger party, you'd be seated outside. Their indoor seating is limited.
