Brookfield Montecito - Woodbury

So today as I was leaving for work from my Brookfield Treo residence in Woodbury, I noticed that at the construction site across the street that makes up the square of Long Meadow/Vintage/Regal/Jeffrey finally has signage up. No, not signage about "Coming Soon in 2010..." but just 2 little signs for construction traffic to follow.

The name on both of those signs, BROOKFIELD : MONTECITO. I was pretty shocked, I had heard that the builder for these homes was going to be either Taylor Morrison or Lennar, never heard anything about Brookfield building homes here. Being a Brookfield homeowner I was pleasantly surprised - I had a great experience with the sales team, the construction team, and the design center, all were very professional and very on top of things. They build a great quality home and as picky as I am, I had them rip out both my kitchen backsplash and my guest bathroom tile work (twice) because they made minor asthetic mistakes that I wanted them to fix, and all without grumbling or complaining.

I'm anxious to see how this develops (no pun intended) and hopefully we will see some floorplans soon.

I think these are rumored to be Treo II, mentioned in this thread...

I agree. The homes are clearly single family based. I think they'll go really well with some of the other single family town homes parallel to them.

Who wants to guess how much these are going to be going for?

Can you point to the cross street where the model is being build?

[quote author="irvine_home_owner" date=1255484337]It's off of Vintage and Great Lawn I think. When you enter on Long Meadow off of Jeffrey, turn right on Vintage and you'll see it on the right.

Thanks IHO

It's kinda dark at the moment, but I'll do my best to score some shots in the morn.

[quote author="Aqua Bliss" date=1254893152]I talked to Brookfield a few months ago about Treo II, it was originally supposed to be in Woodbury East, but they scrapped it.

I don't think they will build Treo II in this location since Treo are attached residence and the entire section here is supposed to be detached homes as mentioned by Woodbury HOA here:

Just talked with Brookfield homes and it appears that there are going to be two projects in the pipeline. Montecito and Treo II (triplexes) in Woodbury East.

Here's something I got on a drive-by (gansters in Irvine!):

It was with my phone so apologies for the blursomeness.

What was interesting to me is how wide the 3rd plan was... most of the Villa Rosa and Mill Fleur plans were longer than wide, where this one seemed wider than long. Looking at the Montecito flooplans, this seems to be correct as they look to be oriented in that manner and if what was mentioned in the other thread about shared driveways, this would make room for them.

From the high $600,000s.

From the artist renditions, I'm not sure how much sidewalk they are getting as it seem like the homes just bleed into the motorcourt. Maybe matchbox can take more pictures.
