If you have any doubts or don't have the correct Tools it's always best to go to a reputable Bike Shop for repairs.
 
you should really check out the Park tools website (http://www.parktools.com) for their great tutorials. industry standard, until you get to the Barnett Manual level.

I second that. Buy every park tool you can. I think I'm almost there, I just need a headset press and head tube reaming tool (both of which I have no idea how to use, but they look purty).

well, if you need a headset pressed, let me know and i'll show you how to use the park HHP2



the reamers and facers i leave to the professionals, since they cost $500 each and are rarely used.
