The deadline is August 26th. I'm sure that there is a method to file an exception, but it is somewhat amusing.

Winex - can this be substantiated by the TX sec of states office rather than just a Lib website?

But there is no confirmation of whether or not the Republicans and Democrats filed before their candidates were "officially" selected at the conventions.
